A year of small observations, kept properly.

A year on a GLP-1 is a year of small observations nobody writes down: which day the nausea lands, which foods stopped working, what the scale did in the fortnight after a dose change. Lean Protocol keeps that record properly and hands it back as something you can read — and take to the prescriber who has eleven minutes.

It is a lab notebook, not a coach. Dose, site, severity nought to four, protein against a target, weight as a trend rather than a mood. Nothing in it congratulates you, and nothing in it tells you what to do next — that conversation belongs to the person holding the prescription.

§ I — The programme

The drug came with a pen.
It did not come with a notebook.

What Lean Protocol records, what it refuses to do with it, and the promise attached to the price.

A record, not a coach

Log the injection: date, dose, site, and whatever showed up afterwards, rated nought to four. Log weight when you feel like it. That is the whole practice, and it takes two taps and a number.

There is no encouragement, no streak, and no cheerful line telling you it is going great. A notebook that flatters you is a notebook you cannot trust in the fortnight it goes badly.

The record

The part nobody thinks to log

Rapid loss takes lean mass with the fat — the published range sits somewhere around a quarter to two-fifths of everything lost when nothing is done about it. The scale cannot tell you which kind you dropped, and it will read as success either way.

So the notebook keeps protein against a weight-based target and asks whether you lifted, beside the dose and the side effects. Not because we sell either one — we sell neither — but because they are the two things that decide what the weight was made of.

Lean mass

Your tolerance map is yours alone

Which foods your stomach still accepts is genuinely personal, and it moves every time the dose steps up. Forums will hand you somebody else's list with great confidence.

Tag what you ate before it went wrong and the map builds itself out of your own weeks — the sole piece of nutrition advice here that is actually about you.

Personal

Written for the eleven-minute appointment

The prescriber is not being careless; the appointment is short. What loses that appointment is reconstructing a month from memory in the first four minutes of it.

One tap exports the whole log as a plain CSV: doses and dates, side effects and their severities, the weight trend and what the protein did. You arrive with the record already made.

Eleven minutes

The oath attached to the price

The web notebook is free and stays free, with no account and no card in front of it. Membership is $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year — seven days free first — and buys sync, the iOS app when it ships, and nothing that was ever taken away from the free notebook to make room for it. One tier. There is no better version of your own record kept behind it.

Thirty days, money back, no reasons asked. Bought from us, write and it comes back. Bought through Apple, Apple handles it under its own policy — and if Apple declines inside our thirty days, write to us and we settle it ourselves.

We will not sell your doses or your side effects to a manufacturer, an insurer, or a broker; we will not take an affiliate fee from a compounding pharmacy, a clinic, or a supplement; and we will not tell you how much weight you are going to lose. Nobody honestly can, and the ones who do are selling something else.

The house's word

The measure of a GLP-1 notebook is not the month everything went well. It is whether, a year in and tapering off, you still have the record of what worked — and the muscle you were never meant to spend.

Standing prohibitions

Five things Lean Protocol will not do, held as terms of the programme rather than as a roadmap that can quietly change.

  • No selling doses, symptoms or weights to pharma, insurers, or data brokers
  • No affiliate fee from a clinic, a compounding pharmacy, or a supplement
  • No promise about how much weight you will lose, or how fast
  • No advice that belongs to your prescriber — the notebook records, it does not direct
  • No account, card, or email standing in front of the free notebook
§ II

§ II — The membership

One tier, stated plainly,
and seven days to leave.

The notebook is free. Membership buys sync and the iOS app, and nothing else was moved behind it.

Per month · $99.99 a year

$14.99per month

Seven days free, then $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year until you stop it — cancelled in Settings, in under a minute, with no retention screen standing in the way. The free web notebook keeps working either way, because it was never the bait.

The terms

  • 7 days free, then $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year
  • One tier — no upsell, and no account required to log
  • Thirty days, money back, no reasons asked
  • Free to download, on every platform it ships to.
  • Seven full days of the complete program.
  • A free core that stays useful forever, unpaid.
  • Thirty days, money back, no reasons needed.
§ III

§ III — Questions

Asked, answered,
printed.

The six questions people on a GLP-1 actually send — not the ones a marketing page finds convenient to answer.

Does this replace my prescriber?

No, and it is built so that it cannot. Lean Protocol records what happened between visits and hands it back; it does not read your log and tell you to change a dose, hold a step, or stop. Titration is a clinical decision made by the person who wrote the prescription. The one exception is a floor, not advice: log a side effect at four and the notebook says to ring your prescriber, which is the limit of what software should ever do with that number.

What happens when I come off the medication?

That is the question we hear most, and it is the right one. Weight regain after stopping is common and we will not pretend otherwise — nobody can honestly promise you a number on the way down or the way back. What we can say is that people who kept lean mass and kept the habits attached to it are in a different position than people who did not, and that the taper is exactly when the record matters most. Keep logging through it: dose, protein, training, weight.

Will my insurer, my employer, or anyone else ever see this?

Not from us. The web notebook stores your log in your own browser on your own device — we never receive it, which means we cannot read it, sell it, subpoena-proof it, or hand it over, because we do not hold it. No account is required to use it, so there is no record of you at this end either. The only copy that ever leaves is the CSV you export yourself, to the person you choose to hand it to.

What does it cost, and what is actually free?

The web notebook is free — no account, no card, no trial that expires into a bill. Membership is $14.99 a month or $99.99 a year with seven days free first, and buys account sync plus the iOS app when it ships. Nothing was removed from the free notebook to make the paid tier look better. There are no ads, and no supplement or clinic affiliates — the membership is how this is paid for, stated plainly.

Does it work with compounded semaglutide, or only the brands?

Both. You log a drug, a dose, a site and a date; the notebook does not care whether the vial says Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, or came from a compounding pharmacy. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are handled the same way, and the milligram figures you enter are your own — we do not publish a titration ladder, because that is your prescriber's to set.

Do I have to log every meal?

No. This is a notebook, not a food diary, and it was built for people who are finished with calorie apps. You record the things that change the outcome — the injection, the protein, whether you trained, the weight now and then, and any food that visibly disagreed with you. Most days that is a handful of taps. If a week goes by unlogged, nothing scolds you and nothing resets.

The register

Be written in for the day Lean Protocol ships on iOS.

One address, kept on our ledger and used once: the day the app opens. No newsletter follows it, and it is never attached to a dose, a symptom, or a weight.
